Frok my experience; the loudest I have ever heard the dome was 2012 Georgia Southern after we wcored the go ahead td on defense thr following plays. The difference me was deafening!!
Coach K also mentions that when an opposing team has to use a silent count, with a hand wave or leg raise, it creates an advantage for the D line by allowing them to get off the line a split second quicker as the game progresses.
I also feel that even though a Valley team comes in and may be "used" to the noise of the FFD, that they still need to prepare and practice differently in anticipation of said noise. I think forcing a team to have to do that, and take away from how they would normally prepare and practice for any other road opponent not named NDSU Bison, creates another advantage for the green and gold. Let's keep it up!!
