FCS Playoff First Round Thread

Yeah I picked UNI over SDSU just because UNI beat them 38-18 earlier in the year, and that was probably the hardest game to pick in the bracket for me. I do think that whoever wins between SDSU and UNI is going to make it to at least the semifinals. And both teams have the talent to beat James Madison.

I also think the potential second round game between Stony Brook and James Madison could end up being pretty close.

What would be really cool is an all Valley final 4, but I'd take 3 of 4.

I'm pulling for NAU to win as I get more excited when different teams come to Fargo for the playoffs.

I am not hoping for that. If it does happen, kids the committee ever splitting up a conference like it did this year good bye. They'll never let it be a possibility again.

I would agree with your post as for a reaction to the rest of FCS. But the rest of the FCS should try and beat our conference then. If you don't like us winning championships, stop us. It really is that simple.

I'm hoping we get to play NAU (someone new) and I'm ultimately hoping its an NDSU vs JMU final. I think we are the only team in this playoff field that has any shot at beating them.

I don't think SDSU has the balance to beat JMU. JMU is the only team in the field with a dominant defense and their offense is better than people think. I doubt the Jacks make it to 17pts against JMU
