Meh, what else are we going to do with no game for 2 weeks?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Is he saying the MVFC hasn't earned that respect?
Playoff record of conference teams against non-conference opponents, since 2010
OVC: 6-11 (half of those wins were from JSU's run to Frisco in 2015, when they were gifted the side of the bracket with no MVFC teams)
MVFC: 37-12 (NDSU makes up 19-2 of that, so even the rest of the conference in the past 7 playoffs is 18-10 against other conferences)
OVC deserves one bid. Eastern Illinois finished third in that league; they beat Indiana St by 2 and lost to Illinois St at home by 31. If they want respect they need to earn it.
I will be VERY surprised if the MVFC doesn't do very well throughout this entire tournament. I think the Leathernecks are a true sleeper and a tough team to predict. I could see them late in this thing. If NDSU stays health and it appears they are getting key players back as well, they simply need to take care of business and they should be in Frisco. JMU may have a tough quarterfinal and semi-final matchup to get thru. NDSU getting back a starting OL and starting linebacker for the stretch run will be huge.

Holy cow, now it's refs and the ncaa in with the mayor of Frisco....i wish work was busier this time of year I wouldn't have to read this drivel, yet morbid curiosity makes me check it every so often
Guy is totally wacko
NDSU Athletics: oderint dum metuant
After reading that thread and them discussing why MVFC isn't that good, I went back from 2010-2016 and compiled the MVFC playoff records by team in out of conference games.
Collectively, MVFC is 32-12 with ALL SEVEN MVFC teams who made playoffs being .500 or better.
NDSU 14-2
SDSU 4-2
UNI 4-2
WIU 2-1
ISUr 3-3
ISUb 1-1
YSU 4-1
