We should go FBS where the competition isn't as hard.

Need to fix hurry up offense. 20 plus seconds isn't going to take you anywhere.

Hurry up offense? Pretty that part of our offense graduated with Wentz.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

It was a bad game, every team has them. We play great teams week in and out relax it's 1 damn loss.

Win 2 more and this one doesn't matter

Might be one damn loss, but it is the same damn problem. Absolutely no fear in our passing game. Sure, Stick can run the ball, but that does not make him a good QB. He scares no one with his ability to thread the ball or float it in just over a defenders reach. And when he runs out of the pocket, his accuracy goes out the window. No idea what went wrong with the coaching staff and offensive play calling, but lately it has been suspect. Our passing game is to the TE (bread and butter), not the receivers. And our run game is suppose to be power. We didn't follow any of that on a regular basis.
I know that every year we have this problem, and it usually gets blamed on overlooking a team or being overly confident or just a brain fart. Sure, every team usually has one bad game a year, the kind of game where all the stars line up against you and no matter what you do you just can't win that game. But NDSU seems to have a flaw or two that teams are aware of. And it does not take a NFL caliber team to defeat the Bison if you stick to the plan. Play against NDSU to stop the run, if you have a QB that can be mobil let him be that way.
    From the movie THE PROGRAM

Regent Chairman: This is not a football vocational school. It's an institute for higher learning.
Coach Winters: Yeah, but when was the last time 80,000 people showed up to watch a kid do a damn chemistry experiment? Why don't you stick the bow-tie up your ass?

Coach K kind of had it right in the presser. Sometimes a team is going to lose. McFeely for all that he isn't actually had it right in his column. Twice since 2011 have the Bison gotten thoroughly beaten. No question about it, beaten in a football game. I would say three time as the score last year in the marker game wasn't indicative of how bad the game was for the Bison. Even with that beatdown to UNI, the Bison won a championship. If you count last year's Marker game, semi finals with a return beatdown on the bunnies. It is Bison football against the field. Everyone puts in a little more against NDSU. SDSU today, put in a lot more and got a few breaks, mostly caused by them so it was a beat down. SO we take all those wins and losses since the first championship of the run and you say the field has done a few things differently. They have recruited differently and much more aggressively to stay competitive. There is a definitive school to use as a benchmark. That school is the target and when you play them, you are going to use them to see if what you are doing is a success. Stig said after the game. We beat a good team so we must be a good team.

Even taking everything one game at a time, the Bison are facing programs that are always cheating ahead and seeing what NDSU is doing. Always spending a little bit of time every week thinking about how they are going to beat the top team when they get their chance. NDSU can't look anywhere but 6 days ahead even though that program has already spent an entire off-season and a little bit each week dissecting your team just like the last program did and the next program will. The Bison can only focus on the program right in front of them and are already behind on day one. The Bison are playing against the field and in the big picture, they are stomping the field. Still, a over 100 games into the decade, a program will get your number once in a while. It is pretty impressive when you can single out two programs that have without a doubt kicked your ass. And like mentioned many times, they had to play their superbowl to do it. They sold out on a lot of things that can't do in a second game so soon in the playoffs, so if we meet again, it is either go with that or what you normally do. Either way, it goes back to advantage Bison.

Everyone near the ledge, get back. NDSU will be fine. 2 more regular season games they just have to find a way to win and then get into the second season where they play programs who can't afford to expend any resources looking ahead. Everyone gets the same 5 or 6 days to prepare. Advantage Bison.

The loss isn't whats concerning it's the way they lost. The offense has been inconsistent at best and today it was downright awful and the defense wasn't any better. We start off letting SDSU march right down the field and score a pretty easy TD. Then our offense hits a big run from Ty only to be brought back by a penalty. Then our OC gets pass happy for god only knows what reason and Easton decides to keep throwing picks. His confidence is shot or something but he is hesitating on every damn throw now. The oline got schooled by a defense that has been abused by other teams rushing attacks all year but our offense can't do shit against them. Then our defense can't get TC on the fucking ground and let him extend plays and finally hit wide open receivers to keep drives alive. More stupid penalties, too many damn turnovers and complete lack of execution. That was by far the worst game I've seen from NDSU in 8 years!

With that said they can learn from it, get better and not let this loss turn into 2 or........
