I know, I'm just saying his indifference to his two buddies being in the room that was noted in the article made me wonder whether this is something they've done before. Legally it doesn't matter at this point but it makes me glad the victim in this case came forward in the event that this was something that happened before and therefore was likely to happen again without her speaking up.

From a general standpoint it certainly did sound like there was a nonchalant attitude about sharing partners. This suggests consent is implied simply because the one person had friends there. It could be this was the first time, but the victim's point is the behavior of being joined by two other men didn't seem unexpected by any of the three men. That would be disturbing for one not expecting or consenting to that behavior.
