Not to mention 2014. (UNI was probably as good as Illinois St.)

If the Jacks were the best opponent last year, how did they not have home field advantage despite tying for the conference championship? And how did YSU make it to the national championship? I'd go with SDSU saved every trick they had up their sleeve for NDSU (running their QB and using RB as lead blocker for QB runs) and Morlock's father had passed away the Saturday before. Nobody was focused on football that week. We caught YSU at their worst. Last year and this year I'm more worried about USD than I am SDSU.

UNI caught us on an off day with a lot of pressure on us with the streaks going. Bad days happen and I wouldn't say UNI was the best conference team that year. They were not as good as Illinois St. and that was proven in the playoffs with ISU beating UNI...

I am so sick of the Bison already. Win this, win that, blah, blah, blah. I'd really, really like to know how they do it. I swear they have to be the luckiest sob's on the planet. Just sick of this bs, just fed up.

Not to much argument here, except for Youngstown. I don't think we caught them at their worst...they just got on the easier side of the bracket. There was only one other good team on that side...EWU. Youngstown was lucky that EWU had no clue about clock management. Youngstown looked silly on EWU's last scoring drive...all EWU needed to do was slow down just a bit and use a little more time and it would have been all over...but that has never been what EWU does. EWU had a poor defense and Youngstown was able to hang in there and get that final score. Youngstown was the 3rd best team last year at best...

With UNI's budget problems, surprised they don't bus them.

The decision could be weather related, although you'd think something like moving a football team would have to be planned well in advance.

Actually Wentz drove NDSU down the field when it was 7-0 UNI... threw a great pass that bounced off Bonnet's chest right into UNI guy for an interception.. they drive and score to make it 14-0.. when in essence it shouldve been 7-7 that was the problem.
