He was well composed during the USD postgame presser too. I guess it just makes how pissed he was two years ago all the more special.

They're going to need a ton of help to get in at 6-5 I think. Their OOC was once again awful. Beating SDSU isn't looking all that impressive right now. They don't play WIU so the they don't really have any more chances to make a statement win. If they lose two more they'll either have a bad loss or two or only one more quality win which is going to make them look very shaky at 6-5. I think they need to be 7-4 or better to get in but I also think they've got a decent chance to run the table and finish 8-3.

The fact they’re a returning finalist will help them get in at 6-5. We’ve seen 6-5 teams with lesser resumes get in the past before, including Valley Teams.

It's not supposed to but it might. Idk about 6-5 teams getting in with weaker resumes before. In 2015 WIU had an insanely difficult schedule so none of their 5 losses were even close to "bad". In 2016 ISUr had an FBS win over Northwestern and a win over #8 seed SDSU (SDSU's only MVFC loss). I doubt YSU can get a win as good as either of those this year. Their OOC schedule is always cupcake laden outside of their FBS game and the committee has punished them for it before. In 2013 they went 8-4 (all D1 wins) and missed the playoffs.

The whistle is ok but loses its charm if you blow it too much. How about at the beginning of each qtr?
Here is the rule. Does it apply? ( notice keys)
Missouri Valley Football Procedures Page 3
    a. Noisemakers. Artificial noisemakers shall not be permitted to be brought into or used in Valley football stadiums. Member institutions shall not distribute or sell any item(s) that may be used as artificial noisemakers. The intent of the rule is to prohibit activities that disrupt play or create unfair advantage. Thunder sticks, cow bells and horns fall into those categories. Non-prohibited activities include the following:
    (1) Putting “make noise” on the video board
    (2) Shaking keys on kick offs
    (3) Drum cadence prior to and during a kickoff that is non-disruptive.

Bo's pressers was low key. Must have fixed his meds. All joking aside- that temper wasn't good for him.
The person who threw chili should have been arrested for assault or have to clean the stadium after games.
The students were jerks but their fans are friendly and know football. I did not have one person tell me "ndsu is Youngstown long ago".
The tailgate was top notch! The NC group know their stuff!!!

    Default YSU post game thoughts.

Play calling and clock mgt at end of 1st half was HORRIBLE and inexcusable. Could have lost game for us.

I didn't like the play calling. Need to get Easton out of the pocket with a run pass option but I didn't think the time management was too bad.

Clock management and use of timeouts at the end of the 2nd quarter was a complete disaster.

Correct, and then some. And the concern for me is we’ve seen same thing in big games under Kliemen. I just don’t understand it.

And attempting one on one passes inside 5 when we can’t get separation when at 50 just baffled me.

Agreed, those didn't even seem good enough to called 50/50 plays. More like 25/75 plays. Would've been nice to see something a little more creative down there like a pick play or bunching 3 receivers to try to confuse the defense since they couldn't risk running it after botching the usage of the TOs.
