I think he was playing spy most the night. It seemed to me ND was having issues cutting once the QB picked a hole. Their QB was showing A and then hard cutting right at the hole and going B. I will pay more attention when I rewatch it. Still thought he had a good game

That’s what I saw of YSU’s QB and that’s where DeLuca got in trouble. QB ran to the A, DeLuca committed for the stop and couldn’t readjust quick enough when the QB bounced out left into the open flat for a huge gain.

I expect Nick and the coaches will make the necessary adjustments. Outside a few of those plays, DeLuca was solid.

Yes, this is true. Not only is YSU a top-MVFC team, but a team that made it to Frisco last year.

Just a reminder of YSU’s three losses this year:

1) Lost to Pitt 28-21 in O.T. at Pitt.
2) Lost to USD 31-28 on a FG that was made with a few seconds on the clock. Game was at USD.
3) Lost to NDSU 27-24 in O.T. at home. Their first home lost since the Bison beat them in 2015.

^^^ This. A great Valley road win by the Bison, enjoy this win for 24hrs the on to WIU. YSU will do well this year, we may see them again.

Win is a win. Road win even bigger against a top ten team. Still plenty of room for improvement as stated by many. But at the end of the day we are 6-0 and 3-0. Road still goes through Fargo to get to Frisco. Great win and keep it going. Go Bison.

Great win. About Cam's practice kick, which by the way setup the winning kick. He was smart to tell the team to go through the motions if a timeout is called. This strategy won the game.
