    Default U23 World Team Trials

Do we have any current guys competing at the U23 World Team Trials in Rochester next weekend? I see that Josh Rodriguez is signed up to be there as part of the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club.

Went through the registration page, and found nobody from the Bison WC or NDSU listed. Yes, Josh is now representing NLWC (https://www.instagram.com/p/BY8okYPFf3s/).

Hope he has great success there. They're well-funded for those trying to make World/Olympic Teams.

Third place for Josh and also for former Bison Carter Nielsen on the Greco side.

Sounds like Tomasello injured his ACL in the second match with Fix.

That stinks. I figured this tournament was a bit risky for guys planning to compete during the NCAA season, due to the timing, but I didn't imagine something like this. That's a huge impact come NCAA time if he's out.

Definitely sucks if true. Him and Fix were hitting beautiful textbook takedowns in the last match.

I hope that's true. When I got told ACL, I questioned how did it happen being that he didn't look injured until he crashed into the Judge's table. I was told it happened in scramble right before the table crash. One thing for sure, he looked pretty pissed while sitting behind me at the medical table.
