Dude wasn't even a great DII coach, let alone a great DII coach in the state of Colorado, where teams outside of CSU-Pueblo aren't very good.

The CSU-Pueblo coach, John Wristen, is a pretty good defensive-minded coach. Not sure if he lost Stitt after resurrecting the football program.
