gameday never coming back is over
BUT IF NDSU IS FBS... THEY COME BACK ALOT

NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
Look at what I started and it wasn't even a full moon last night.
We flew an NDSU flag in Oregon shortly after their first trip to Fargo when we lived in Oregon. There was one other Bison flag in the crowd.
It's OK to not be OK.
Game Day not coming back because ESPN won't be around much longer.
Bold statement. Why do you think that?
A MAC team has hosted Gameday once since 2003.
The Mountain West has hosted twice in that same time period - and one of those was Army at Air Force (they love going to service academies.)
On the face of it, your claim seems dubious, and NDSU needs to have a solid rationale for going FBS, not a fantasy-based one that might as well involve unicorns crapping gold nuggets.
"Sometimes a concept is baffling not because it is profound but because it is wrong" E. O. Wilson
"I'm not crazy my mother had me tested". Sheldon Cooper
My boss hates it when I shorten his name to Dick, mainly because his name is Steven.
I would start with what ndsu does has no effect on the national landscape of college football and 96% of gamedays viewers don't give a shit about ndsu, the fcs and north Dakota.
Now if it was #12 ndsu hosting *insert ranked team here * with implications on the college football playoff...that would garner some interest on them returning to Fargo.
For now...theyve been here twice for incarnate word and Delaware st. That doesn't scream ratings
And there's probably 5+ better fbs options late in the season than if #1jmu played #2 ndsu
