    Sign at Gameday:

Loved that they updated Gene Wojo's piece on great IAA/FCS players who were great in the NFL by adding Wentz. Not only that but the other stars have one or two plays, they had like 4-5 for Carson. Nice!!!!

Trying not to sound catty, but the Gameday sequel at JMU was a let down. Big crowd but that was about it. Nothing really special with any of the segments, guest picker and headgear pick were meh. Sign game was weak. I just was expecting better.

Maybe they should have tried to build a tradition by bringing transfers in to hold signs.

The crowd size was impressive. That's about it. The picks segment was really the worst since they trotted Katy Perry up there, at least with her it was at least easy on the eyes. Does JMU not have anyone to do guest picks?

I thought they would've tried something clever like picking the game between NDSU @ YSU in front of a JMU crowd...but South Carolina/Tenn & WVU/Texas Tech were more relevant i guess.

Looked up their notable alums on Wikipedia.

Charles Haley( 5x Super Bowl Champ and Hall of Famer) went there. Didn't recognize any of the names though.

Scott Norwood would have been ok.

Of course, FCS not very relevant. I guess JMU is the new FCS darling, with their recent FCS championship and the other over a decade ago. And of course that big FBS win over East Carolina. Woo Hoo! NDSU should have hosted Gameday 5 times in a row given the criteria JMU apparently met to get them there again.
