Think they will go back to him after that series. Maybe forcing a gut check for him, and team perhaps. Who knows.

How well do those who transfer have success, let alone at the NFL level?

That lack of desire to compete would be a bit of a red flag for me unless it was proven that the individual transferring wasn’t going to get a fair shot to begin with.

I'd guess most of them end up as a "bust" or not living up to the 5-star rank. Notre Dame had a couple of them not work out and fail at their next schools as well. Lots of pressure to be great + high profile job, I'd guess some kids aren't cut out for it.

I'd guess most of them end up as a "bust" or not living up to the 5-star rank. Notre Dame had a couple of them not work out and fail at their next schools as well. Lots of pressure to be great + high profile job, I'd guess some kids aren't cut out for it.

Same thing happens in wrestling (and probably every other too). A lot of kids are used to being a man among boys and can’t adjust to when they are a man among men.

There is also the opposite situation where underdeveloped, talented kids become beastly supermen in college.

Here’s my take. Since the mythical 5 seed isn’t participating, victories by the 4th seed are evidence of either 1) poor seeding or 2) a field deep enough to at least contemplate expansion.
