Tennessee looked like they were on the verge of hiring Greg Schiano, it blew up completely since Vol fans wanted nothing to do with him and now it appears it might end up with their AD getting fired. This is the guy that was at K-State before GT.

Wow Schiano signed a contract and now they are trying to work on an exit strategy. Not sure I've seen a fanbase terminate a hire but it happened in Tennessee....

Tennessee has backed out of a memorandum of understanding that would have made Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano its new head coach, according to ESPN's Chris Low. Schiano and the Volunteers had reached an agreement earlier Sunday, but UT officials changed their minds after Schiano's anticipated hiring was met with sharp criticism by UT fans.

There are reports that TN will owe Schiano $20 million in a buyout for a contract that was signed but TN backed out of it. But only speculation on this. Fox Sports Knoxville mentioned this.
