I don't like Georgia's chances one bit. Bama is pissed. I think that same defense that showed up tonight will amp it up even more vs their conference champs inside their own state.

Here’s my take. Since the mythical 5 seed isn’t participating, victories by the 4th seed are evidence of either 1) poor seeding or 2) a field deep enough to at least contemplate expansion.

I feel like bowl game upsets regardless of seed or importance are due to not playing in a month moreso than bad seeding.

I feel like we’ve won 6 of those kind of games in 7 years. I think the playoff semifinals and championship for FCS are categorically different than your run of the mill bowl upset, which may stem from the game being an exhibition.

But we've also played semi final games a few weeks before. 3?. Don't most conference championships happen in November? Those big bowl games last week in December? That's 4-5 weeks.
