There is a wide range of treatment for meniscus tears. A small tear with no catching or locking symptoms may not even need surgery. Or a small to medium tear may just need to be trimmed and would need only a few weeks recovery. A large tear may need to be repaired. That's where the long recovery would be needed as to not stress the repair. Most everything can be done through a scope - including repairs. I don't know if Deluca has a tear, and if he does, how extensive it is. I'm just throwing out hope he may be back.

tar & feather me all you want. I predict Deluca doesnt play all season and that he shouldve went to NFL after his junior year and rode some of Wentz' s attention (if I was his agent/family) this makes me sick to my stomach like Travis Beck ....

    2. Yes, the team was told not to talk about it. We are usually able to keep injuries, suspensions, etc. in house where they belong. The young men should be applauded for their discretion, if anything
    3. Don't forget DeLuca played the Iowa game last year with his season ending shoulder injury having already happened. My guess is whatever the injury is, Nick will beat the normal recovery time. Because he is not normal
Just like Brock's Collar Bone(2010) and Grant's MCL or ACL?(2013) injuries.

absolutely not. he brought a "sourced" report on to a message board reporting a season ending ACL injury. It's more likely than not that it isn't season ending and it 100% isn't an ACL injury. I don't understand where you find grey area.

Where have you heard that Cox doesn't understand the defense? He's a former QB who has now spent a spring ball and two fall camps learning NDSU's defense? Littlejohn, Beck, DeLuca, Mays, Humber, Jemison, Evans all guys who played plenty of Freshman snaps for NDSU at LB.

I'm not even saying that he'll play more or less than you think but insinuating he doesn't understand the defense is strange unless you actually have a source.

Probably just a decoy. I mean, it's way worse than they're saying, right?
