Uh, read/re-read this thread from the beginning. I just finished reading every post from start to finish in this thread because this is where I learned of said injury. Guy who started it is 100% convinced DeLuca is done for the year. Now we're hearing otherwise.

Uh, read/re-read this thread from the beginning. I just finished reading every post from start to finish in this thread because this is where I learned of said injury. Guy who started it is 100% convinced DeLuca is done for the year. Now we're hearing otherwise.

There's a good chance he still could be.

Knee issues in general are very fickle and we all know that. I personally think NDSU has been trying to keep this under wraps as to make sure to have as much gamesmanship and advantages as possible - and I know Coach K has/will do it a'la Carson Wentz before the Natty.

I feel the same as others on here if he is out for an extended period of time or the year. Wentz going down was my most depressing injury maybe ever since I just felt ripped off based on how good he was, but it turned out great. Deluca isn't quite in Wentz category, but he is close as I was looking forward to watching him roam and do his damage on the defensive side of the ball. Hopefully he would come back for the playoffs at the worst and turn in a Wentz performance and lead us to another title.

We killed the little rabbits without him in the playoffs... obviously I feel bad for him as well he's been felt a tough hand lately, I hope he's back for the marker game

Exactly what I said. They didn't expect this to get out so quickly I'm sure, so now they have to play the game for a couple of days. Wentz wasn't announced until the Tuesday after the USD game.
