Default First time going to a game

    Hey Guys and ladies,
A couple of buddies and I are coming to North Dakota for the first time and are planning on going to a game. We are suffering University of Florida fans and want to see some good football (it has been a while). Can you give us some advice, such as: what to do and where to go in Fargo on Friday night and after the game on Saturday? We have looked for tickets on Stubhub...is it really that hard/expensive to get tickets or can you buy outside the stadium? Not to sound stupid, but what does standing room only mean in the FargoDome...is there really a section where you just stand? Anything else to see tailgating before the game...we are staying at Homewood suites across from the dome and are planning on just walking around?

We are really looking forward to it and any advice would be great. FYI, we are coming for the Robert Morris game.

SRO is going to be in the corners. Depending on the opponent, some Student and opposing team tickets might be available on Friday.

I have been able to find a ticket in the parking lot in a pinch but we 12,000 season tickets, 4,000 student tickets and all single game tickets are sold out for the season.

If you are looking for a ticket, I would suggest Robert Morris. You might not get a great game but the odds you will find a ticket increase.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Which game? SRO is in the corners of the building, on the concourse level. Lots of good food and drink Downtown, take an Uber or Lyft probably $5-10 from Homewood. Tickets are difficult buy what you can when you can depending on the game. Yes there are always some available in the tailgate lots if you walk around and ask.

Gambling is legal in the bars, games consist of Blackjack, Pull tabs, Pig wheel (kind of like roulette)
    Bars are open till 2AM
Booze is bought at Liquor Stores (Happy Harrys is right down the street from your hotel)
Tailgating starts 5.5 hours before kickoff time, start in the reserved lots and walk every section, you will be full and drunk

As long as the game isn't too early in the season. If you thought the weather for Kansas State was hot and humid, Florida will take it to another level.
    Hail the BISON!!!

You should try being a Longhorn fan. NDSU has been the best medicine any doctor could every prescribe, and has really helped the past 7+ years.

Downtown Fargo, friday & saturday night...no other competition in town. Tons of bars to hop around...take Uber from the Homewood to DT, its not that far of a drive so the fare will be low.
