Hail the BISON!!!
was talking to my doc about that. we were talking about the power athletes generated these days. so much torque wondered if they were not tearing things up all on their own.
It has to be strength to weight ratio in some form or fashion. Watch most any NFL game and there is a player laying on the ground holding his knee about every 3-4 series. The human body structure isn't keeping up with the diet / muscle on todays athletes. I'm sure many will argue this but I know there are a hell of a lot more people rolling around on the field holding their knee's than in the past. also, when they replay the injury it is often times a person running along, quick cut, down he goes, no contact involved is odd.
I like to surround myself with people who share in my inappropriate comments, sarcasm, and random shenanigans
Athletes aren't getting enough rest these days. Has anyone been asking taboo questions of Kramer and his program? I've noticed alot of ACLs for NDSU. Seems to be an inordinate amount. Could be due to playing 15 games a year. Could be that the SC staff needs to tweak something.
Injuries used to be an unusual occurrence. Now, every game there are several players hobbling, wobbling or being carried off the field. Essentially, a team’s success is now often dependent upon their injury situation. The first step in correcting the injury problem is to admit that it exists (like they have with concussions) and then, maybe, some things will change.
