STATS FCS Game Of The Week

......Quarterback Chris Streveler has produced 10 touchdowns (six passing, four rushing), the most by an FCS player, without committing a turnover this season. Eight Coyotes have combined to register 10 sacks, also the FCS high.

Prediction: The Coyotes rely on Streveler a bit too much, but he's on a superb roll. South Dakota, 31-30.

Gameday for #23 Coyotes......can they redeem themselves after last season's loss to the Fighting Hawks, despite having a 20 point lead in the 2nd half. QB Streveler threw 2 pick sixes in that game.
MVFC has a 4-1 edge against the Big Sky. 2 games remaining, this 1 and also Northern Iowa visiting Southern Utah.

South Dakota head coach Bob Nielson hired North Dakota coach Bubba Schweigert at Minnesota Duluth
after Nielson moved from head football coach to athletic director there following the 2003 season. Schweigert left Duluth after four seasons to become the defensive coordinator at Southern Illinois. Nielson returned to the sidelines in 2008 and led Duluth to a 15-0 season and a Division II national championship. Current Coyote pass game coordinator Ted Schlafke was the quarterback of that team. Current Coyote co-defensive coordinator Tyler Yelk was Duluth’s starting safety.

The Coyote site says they are streaming the game (all home games) for free, it is also on Midco and ESPN3.
