Gamboa suspended indefinitely
Senior CB Victor Gamboa has been suspended indefinitely from the team for an undisclosed “violation of team rules,” coach Aaron Best said on Monday. Gamboa, a fixture in the secondary for three years with 22 career starts, is practicing with the team but will not make the trip for the season opener at Texas Tech. “We’ve talked about where he needs to go from here,” said Best, who said the suspension is indefinite.

As mentioned elsewhere by EC8CH, EWU's Eastern Washington / Texas Tech thread got a little entertainment going, starting at page 13

"The desire to win is useless without the desire to prepare."
"I've coached in a lot of great venues during my career, but there is no place louder than the Fargodome. There is no verbal communication whatsoever when you are down on that field. It's unbelievable. It's the best atmosphere in college football - at any level." - Jeff Monken
According to Sagarin, even playing at Texas Tech, Bison would be a 1.5 point favorite.
I'll be surprised if EW doesn't look considerably better next sat.
