Even though I never saw any pics/video (if they exist, don't share them please), but no, my knee injury wasn't life threatening like it was for Bridgewater. The only fortunate part my injury was that my career was pretty much done at that point anyway and didn't have to face a fork in the "life" road. The worse part was getting my friend to get over being responsible for the injury.
Hail the BISON!!!
Not squeamish in the least but that one made my stomach turn. That and the Livingston are the worst I've seen live on tv. Worst I've seen in person have been the Arnell injury and a terrible compound shin fracture from a Fargo Stanley kid in HS. Either way, too bad for Menard. He could be an NFL LB.
Next man up and the next man gets Menard in their ear all season. Seems like it could be a lot worse. The Bison are deep and one guy isn't going to make or break a season. If he takes the redshirt, it means more depth next season. I am being a glass half full guy here.
Get well Greg. Bison nation is behind you!
Best wishes to Greg and I hope he heals up well. Next man up definitely applies but I doubt we have anyone on the roster that is anywhere near his pass rush/disruption ability. Unless Butler or someone else exploded onto the scene we will have to blitz a lot
Wonder if one of the LBs take a few reps at end during pass situations? Jordheim I think practiced this in the past. Maybe even Board practiced end at on point IIRC. Cox? Still expect one of the younger DEs gets the chance to step up. Either way, Menard a stud and hard to replace experience.
