Dan Marlette is listed ahead of Matt Plank on the depth chart at MLB for the Robert Morris game (from Dom Izzo's twitter):

Would be nice to see some more from Mercadel, didn't catch much on him against MVSU, should see more this weekend.

Yeah, I'd like to see way more of the second and third stringers.

And way less of Dom's fuckin' socks. I assume that's what that is...

Using my third grade math skills, I see six of ten on the two deep Oline are from Nodak. Never in a million years thought I would see that. Small town Nodak to boot. Gotta be global warming, no?

Global warming, no. Descendants of Scandinavia and Germany, yes. The average size of upper Mid-West people is crazy compared to other parts of the country.

This sounds logical, my upper Midwest size is definitely above average, definitely.

With how well Marlette played at EWU, I could see him passing up Plank as a better every down MLB. Maybe that is not the case, but Marlette has an undeniable edge in coverage, and it is not like he is struggling at run defense. Regardless, both should see significant time as the season progresses.
