Appreciate your concern for the South Dakota economy and how SDSU is going to pay off the bonds for the new stadium without your few measly dollars every other year. FWIW the revenue from the suites is easily enough to make the bond payments, please, tell me about the suites in the fargo dome.

From the July 2017 Fargodome Authority meeting - "Year-to-Date Net Income through June 2017 is stated at $454,413 which is a positive variance (to budget) of $104,075." The Dome has been in the black for many years, and it gets filled many times per year with a variety of events compared to SDSU's stadium.

I give them props for selling it out.

I laugh that they sold it out on the premise of keeping the tickets out of our hands and not on the premise of people wanting to watch the Rabbits play.

I am sure all those extra tickets will be put together for another big giveaway. For their Drake game last Saturday SDSU gave free tickets to Lake Area Tech students that wanted to watch the yakrabbits. Must have been up to 5000 available for that barn burner. Sure they will do something similar for NDSU game.

I honestly don't think the SDSU peeps gloating about the sell-out care. I get the feeling they share their athletic department's sentiments that it's better to have an empty seat than a Bison fan in that seat. It appears to be a South Dakota thing in general.
