The game was on local TV in California, I think, but was not available back in Fargo... unless I'm thinking of that UC Davis game.

I think you have it right.

If you wore the uniform...you're a champion.

I think the Davis game was on in ND. At least in Napoleon ND.

I watched the UC Davis game but listened to Poly on the radio. Don't think it was on tv

Went deep into the archives to find the Cal Poly GDT. I haven't read through it, but I'm pretty sure that people kept an even keel.

Those teams were amazing. Too bad there is limited video of some of those games. Crazy how now everything is in HD and streamed online.

That's how I remember it as well. I definitely watched the UC Davis game in my parents kitchen. Seems like I remember a few Cal Poly games on the radio back in the day.

The comeback at poly probably gets less recognition because way less people listened to it and nobody from ND saw it. I consider it more remarkable. I remember my wife giving up on it. But Scottie's "are you kidding me?" on the heckendorf td was classic. The only time I remember actually hearing true disbelief in his voice.

I read it. The CATV webcast was cancelled. That's why I stuck to the radio

We are so lucky now with espn3
