    I got 7

One set of 3 at 10:10 am - Section 111

    One pair of 2 at 10:16 - Section 111

    Another pair of 2 at 10:28 - Section 101

Assuming we make it to Frisco, it will only be my 2nd time at the championship, and 1st with the family. Any recommended hotels for a family of 4 with a 3 year old boy and just over 1 year old boy that are very active and like to swim?

I don't have any issue with the area the event is held, just the stadium size, which isn't much bigger than the high school stadium in nearby Allen, TX. With there being five football stadiums within the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, I can see the Southland putting a bid that includes one of those unless it is mandate by some weird rule that the stadium be located within the same city as their conference headquarters.

While the AT&T Stadium and Cotton Bowl are probably too big and too costly for the Southland Conference, I think the Amon G. Carter Stadium (45,000) in Fort Worth, Gerald J. Ford Stadium (32,000) in Dallas and Apogee Stadium (30,850) in Denton would be better options, especially if the finalist include a combination of NDSU, JMU and Montana.

What's frustrating is that the Toyota Stadium is smaller than its predecessors - Finley Stadium (20,688) in Chattanooga, TN, Joan C. Edwards Stadium (38,277) in Huntington, WV and Allen E. Paulson Stadium (25,000) in Statesboro, GA.

Hopefully, Toyota Stadium's construction is completed soon, which it should as noted in Professor Chaos' post. Having a cap space less than 15,000 is terrible.

15k for a Championship game is pathetic. When NDSU is selling out game after game at ~19,000 that should open some eyes to the NCAA/FCS that there is much more money to be had if they just allow fan from both sides to buy tickets.

The stadium isnt big enough for us. But you throw in a Towson vs USD they would have many many seats go empty.

fuck the ncaa. they'd hold the title game in a parking lot if the bid was high enough. they care nothing about the fan experience or player safety. they only want to make as much money as possible.

I would, but we have no family members in a reasonable distance to watch them.

Honestly, the NCAA only makes money on Men's Basketball due to the TV Contracts. These contracts pays for their entire budget, which includes paying for NCAA Championships, whether that is for football (not the CFP for P5 schools), wrestling, hockey, baseball, softball, etc. Since they don't get the money for P5 TV contracts (the P5 Conferences keep the money), football much like all other non-Men's Basketball NCAA Championships, really isn't that much important to them. I'm still disappointed in how little money they put into the last Championship game NDSU was a part of. There were no commemorative cups at the stands, and finding programs took a lot of work. It also looked like they cut their budget on banners compared to previous Championship Games.

Ha, I'm a little late to the party. At work and can't log on to the appropriate site, I'll try later. In the meantime if anyone ends up with a couple of extras shoot me a PM, thanks.
