Was hoping this was happening behind the scenes. It's been quite awhile since Momentum raised over $110M after a stated goal of $75M. It looks like this campaign unofficially began in 2016, so probably $50M-100M has already been raised. The campaign will conclude in 2022.

An interesting thing will be how this campaign is handled compared to UND's $330M campaign from a few years back. A big chunk of their campaign was long-term structured and estate giving. IOW, they haven't seen all of that $330M yet; they get installments each year and have to wait for donors to die in some cases. Though we'll never know for certain, it would be interesting to know how much of this new NDSU campaign will be long-term giving. There are positives and negatives in each approach, though I'm sure long-term giving is positive on the whole.
