Sounds like he will go to 174. One noteworthy result, De La Riva beat Fogarty back in the 2017 season 17-10. He didn't have a great record last year and his record has gotten worse each year, but he definitely has the potential. Hopefully a change in scenery will be just what he needs!

Droegemueller got bent back over his knee pretty bad and had to Injury Default at Junior Freestyle duals today, hopefully everything is okay. He tried to wrestle on it for awhile, didn't look good.

Zach Schneider committed to wrestle for NDSU as a part of the 2018 class. He was the 2018 MN class A 160 lb champion for Caledonia.

That must have been the wrestler Coach Garnett was tweeting about being on campus the other day.

Cressel has won 3 in a row in Consi's
Franek is in Round of 16
Brenner has won 3 in a row in Consi's
Stuhl got pinned in Consi's to Caleb Rea (was a Gopher commit but is now going to WVU and also beat Gavin Teasdale this year)
Noel is in Round of 16 against #10 Alex Cramer
Droegemueller is out - was up 6-0 going for a gut wrench and got reversed to his back and pinned, tough loss

Franek won by tech fall to gain the finals. Burwick lost by tech fall in the semi's. I saw Ripplinger lost like 12 to 11 in the consolations and so will not place. Franek is a very good commitment and getting Burwick would be very good.

Franek did not wrestle good in the finals and got teched. Burwick got noosed out by Mckee of Minnesota and took 4th.

For the most part, Franek did all the shooting while Braunagel did the scoring. I hate watching counter wrestlers as they will not evolve to be successful at the World level. Defense is important, but you have to be able to take risks and score when needed.
