If we can get these all to signing day and still be adding several more to this class. Is this the best class on paper that NDSU has recruited, not knowing how they all will turn out.

It's so tough to say but this group is very skilled. I see 2 running backs who could be as good as anyone we've had. I see a great QB. I see some potentially great receivers but their size is pretty average. Pierce looks similar to Greg Mendard. Kartes looks big time and could be a linebacker in the mold of a Travis Beck. Dude is FAST!

I see a ton of 6-1 hybrid athletic players who are hybrid players. That's a good thing.

The olineman we got are going to be great guards and centers.

What we really need is another pure cover corner. That is the position I feel like we need more than ever. Gotta remember once upon a time we had Marcus Williams, CJ Smith, Andre Martin, Shepherd, Jordan Champion, and Aireal Boyd on the roster at the same time.

Also I really wish we could land another one of those 6-4, 6-5 D-Tackles. We are at our best when we develop the tall lanky athletic skinny kid into ridiculously talented players. Our 2013 National Championship team, most player in the D-Tackle position was 6-4 or taller and most of our DE's were 6-5. (exception 6-3 Emmanual and 6-1 Schaetz who was still a walk on)

All the guys don't have to be 6-4 or taller because guys like Kyle Emmaual and Brian Schaetz did just fine. After Morgan and Tanguay are gone, we still got 6-4 Cole Kartz, 6-5 Derrek Tuszka, and 6-4 Spencer Waege. Then we got OGBU who is 6-6. So we got the makings of a great D-line but the more the merrier.

Bison1660 folks were calling it an avalanche of recruits....

Think it was more like a stampede. A stampede of baby bison.

Only if our OT bench press on par with the national standards. I cannot shake that thot of King doing more reps compared to Lechler and Plankers

Makes me so crazy NDSU didn't have this kind of bench press guy. Think of the extra wins.

Glad somebody finally brought it up. My question, Does NDSU put a high enough priority on bench when recruiting?

Seems they only care about football ability, character and winning attitude/mindset and skill etc. these should be so far behind the bench press, the ultimate test of an athlete.

I'm a bit disappointed with the technique and lack of full extension. So much, that I'll post these here just to feel better knowing that some athletes actually know how to lift properly.

    Hail the BISON!!!

I can always lose weight but you will always be an idiot. We can take that to the bank.

FYI---when you try and neg rep somebody you have to have green chicklets to be effective. LOL
