    James Kaczor, St. Cloud Tech senior

    Kaczor finished third in the state Class 2A meet in the shot put to earn all-state honors with a toss of 54 feet, 7½ inches. That's the third best in school history.

    Kaczor placed fifth in the discus with 152-0 after having a seeding distance of 158-3. His best throw is 159-0.

    A three-sport athlete, he was a two-way star on the football team and a key contributor on the basketball team.

    He's headed to North Dakota State on football scholarship, where he'll play defensive back
