I just don't understand these guys leaving a program that plays for a national championship every year and sends guys to the NFL every year. For programs that are a step down and rarely have NFL players.
Exceptions obviously being the cox brothers and sigle.

These are the types of losses that drive me crazy. He was a solid player who plays, and what exactly does he think he is going to get that is better leaving? He had no shot at P5 and and most G5 schools are not a better situation. I'm completely perplexed, unless he was not on full ride, but imagine he was.

Think a little more positive about some of these guys. It may be that they have seen some of the younger guys looking great in practice, and they know if they stay, they will be riding a lot of pine.

If that is the case with some of the departures, then it is wisdom prevailing on their part.

The Sigle debacle may have changed the way coach is choosing playing time for the younger and more talented guys; a little?

Bullshit. If guys come to NDSU, graduate, and represent themselves and the state with class, they have absolutely earned the right to transfer. They held up their end of the bargain 100%, what more do you want from a student athlete? Now with that said, it seems like in most situations it doesn't quite turn out like they thought and they would have been better off staying, but to each their own.
