    I totally agree with this.

Easiest solution? Trade IPFW(BB, MSoc) for UNC(BB) and UMKC(MSoc). Only maintains the status quo, but at least it does that. Helps travel a bit and creates an opportunity for Summit football if a nuclear option is needed in the future.

    Travel Partners
    DU/UNC - 60mi (1:20hr)
    NDSU/UND - 75mi (1:15hr)
    SDSU/USD - 115mi (1:45hr)
    UNO/UMKC - 189 mi
    ORU-GCU - 1060 mi
    Fixed it......

Sounds like Horizon will look to expand next year to as they want to get 12 teams. WHo else besides IPFW can we dump off to them? Maybe they will take WIU and UNO out of the Summit.

Dump UNO? If the Summit loses Omaha, you can just about stick a fork in the conference.

How many more team's can the Summit lose before we lose our auto bid? 2 years down the road is going to be VERY interesting.
There was an article out of KC not too long ago that said travel in the WAC was killing them and they need to pursue Midwest options. With Chicago State on its deathbed they are going to be way out on an island.
