Linebackers I think I voted Mays, Humber, and Beck
I can't remember after that but I think I went Carlton Littlejohn and Grant Olson. The only reason I put LJ ahead of Grant is his versatility and how he roamed the middle in nickel and filled in admirable for Grant who isn't the best but my all time favorite
Looking at today's voting is ridiculous lumping safeties with corners is comparing apples to oranges

I've noticed a few comments about Benny and Simmy. They may deserve some consideration in the discussion of all time greats, but neither one played in the Dome, so they don't belong in this discussion.
Though not the most talented on the list, when thinking back to games when the chips were down I would watch Grant Olsen.
He would legally put the opposing qb on his ass EVERY play until he eventually limped off the field. In particular Kolmorgen from UNI in 2013.
For best D1 comeback wins, I think Georgia Southern showed impressive grit and set the table for KState. Especially gritty because of Georgia Southern showing they wouldn't give up with a super impressive comeback win versus old dominion the week prior.

Grant Olson does not get enough credit for his instincts and how quickly he read plays and met the RB or QB behind the line of scrimmage. He beat the blocker to the block and often the runner to the hole. Without seeing exact statistics, he had many tackles for -1, no gain or +1 yards. Plays like this set the defense up for longer 2 or 3 down and easier to get off the field.
DeLuca, Humber & Beck. Never have to take them off the field and would never get caught with the wrong personnel group in any situation.
