Something for chapo to admit, that not being 100% likely makes him not the best option skill/talent wise. Very very very few people can play 70% and be better than their peers much less opposing teams/CBs. So you want to play a kid who probably isn't even the best option because of injury and risk hurting him worse? Terrible call

Dude, this is sports. WHO KNOWS what might help the team and what could make a difference? Some of this shit isn't supposed to make sense. For example, I forgot to wear my lucky Bison socks during the SIU game and look at how that shit turned out. I also remembered to put them on right after that little UND running back broke that long one. That was a close call...

Maybe because he isn't sure if he's out all spring? Maybe it's like Hunter where he'll suddenly be cleared to play and we surprise SDSU or UNI or someone in the playoffs by trotting him out onto the field?

If Phoenix is being truthful about last Saturday being the first time he's jumped in 6 months, then it sounds like he may be done with the rehab portion of his meniscus recovery and is working on getting his strength and conditioning in order before being evaluated and cleared for practice/contact again.

Would I love to see him back? Absolutely! But not at the expense of his long term health. That's got nothing to do with being soft and everything to do with being smart.
