Default Horizon League makes offer to...

...one of these 3 unidentified schools.

    3 rumored schools to be.

    Fort Wayne
    Grand Canyon
    Southern Illinois-Edwardsville

Great job by Keith Brake on Bison 1660 for getting the guy who broke the story on the air the same day. Here's the interview. He also talked about Fort Wayne leaving, the Summit League could drop below the minimum number of schools required and could potentially lose it's auto bid for baseball.

So if it's FW what does the Summit do? Would GCU except an invite from the Summit? They would appear to be the best replacement.

Don't go there until we know. That would be a big blow since they are one of the quality bball schools.

GCU isn't horrible though. Outside of BB FW sucks.

I must have missed it, who has an offer out there for NDSU right now?? And while yes it would be great to get our men's basketball program into a bigger conference so we can get better teams into Fargo, is it the best thing to move all of our sports? I don't know how big an issue it was up at UND but the increased travel of the Big Sky had to be one of the reasons for all of the cuts they have had to do over the last few years. For the health of NDSU sports, I think we need at least a few Dakota schools in whatever conference we are in to keep those travel costs down.

Dan Majerle is still their head coach for mens basketball.
