    Great guy, excellent kicker and SS, loved to hit and often made tackles way down field on kick-offs by following his kick and knowing no one accounted for him re: blocking. We did a lot of off-field things together, and stayed in touch over the years. He had great sense of humor as well. Tough and sad loss.

    I was in school during the same time he was....truly versatile safety and kicker. The kicking was his hobby, but that's what he's remembered for, and kicking at Dakotah field wasn't easy. Rip Kuby.
