One guy that needs to be mentioned more is Noah Sanders. Like Brock was, he could be a dark horse to lead the Bison offense in a few years.

It's great to have competition at the QB position. And if these guys are athletes they can contribute in other areas on the team similar to our more recent QB to defense conversions.

It’s tough to tell from comparing high school highlight reels. No one can tell for sure until they’re all on the same playing field. It’s definitely a good problem to have, though. Van Dellen is the biggest and has the strongest arm. Although he is probably not as fast a runner as Easton, Van Dellen has shown an ability to run when needed. He will also have had the most time in the system when 2019 rolls around. For those reasons, my money is on Van Dellen. That said, however, all are probably good enough athletes to play the position, and it will come down to who can see the field the best and make the best decisions.

Will Trey be a difficult "hold" for the Bison?

His stats don't really jump out there so I could see how he wouldn't be on the bigger schools radar as much.

Burns keeps calling him a top recruit in MN, so just makes me nervous.

He shut his recruitment down. Iowa and others want to talk to him, but he told them to quit calling. I had a nice conversation with his dad this last summer. Great family, excited to be part of the Bison family! His dad said he wanted to concentrate on his season. Talking to all these other coaches takes up a lot of time.
