Nickel Trophy Update

I'm not in favor of having a traveling trophy as a part of the NDSU v _ND game, but if legislation forces us to have a trophy I would go with the real nickel. If the real nickel as a trophy doesn't work, can we just play for the original Nickel Trophy. It's U.S. currency, and it's not even a Sioux Indian.

If they somehow develop the program the rivalry will be renewed. That's a big if...something Vet70 knows something about. Until then they are more interesting than Indiana St, Southern Illinois, and maybe Western Illinois...but they aren't near as interesting as SDSU, UNI, Illinois St, and YSU. I would say they are about as interesting as USD. Beating SDSU in the playoffs is way more fun than handing UND one of its numerous losses for the year.
