Really liked the way Brooks was reading blocks and turning up field.
Only saw a small sample, but the defensive scheme looked a bit more aggressive- love that.

The starting defense looked really good and gave Easton and Co. a lot of trouble. Davis and Van Dellen looked good against the non-starting defense, but not as good as Purifoy and Brooks. Jabril Cox made his presence known.

I don't care how the vote ended up. They still suck and always will.

Purifoy and Brooks look solid, as did Engel and Ellingson. Liked the mis-direction play-action passes, and the lack of jet sweeps. Think our running game is gonna be solid. Passing game still needs work.
Edit: Also liked the called QB draws. Cats ran that a lot last year with major success. Nice blocking scheme for it.

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

Like others have alluded to we are rich at the RBs position. Purifoy looked really good as did Brooks.
Online looked solid as well. The O won the trenches imo but to be fair both starting DTs were held out.
Butler got the nod over Tuscka for the other first team DE spot. They'll be a rotation either way.
Nice pick by Hendricks as well.
