I would explain it to you but I dont have the crayons or the time.
If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles"

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

No. Unless you think neo-Confederatism is a valid political concern.

I've never had a problem with non-partisan politics myself, but people just can't leave that crap alone because it's the only way they know to view the world. And that's a shame. I mean, just look at the shit people are telling me I think. Herschel Walker and Clarence Thomas? When I have ever mentioned those guys?

Here's what I will say: The US is stronger because of having rural areas and urban areas. They all contribute to a greater whole than the separate parts.

Edit for no reason: MONKEY POX! in a British accent.

Times change and many Democrats switched parties when the Voting Rights Act was passed. Are the Gophers one of the best football teams in the country because they have 7 national championships?
It's OK to not be OK.

Herschel's problem is that he's been caught lying several times and he's actually not that bright, in spite of his status in the community. It has nothing to do with his race unless you make it so.

He lies about his lies. Lied about graduating from college, and then lied about lying about graduating from college. Impressive actually.

Yeah, it was like one of those Freaky Friday kinda things, right? Kinda weird.

I get that there's a lot of shameful shit in the history of BOTH parties. What difference does it really make. Perhaps folks could focus on getting shit done rather than focusing on gotcha political nonsense.

I remember one of my best friends saying what an a-hole Woodrow Wilson was, and I argued with him. That's what not teaching true history does to you - it makes me cringe even decades later. I do like to argue though just for the intellectual stimulation which is why I occasionally post extremely provocative things (but true reflections of my opinions at the time.)

The world would probably be a much better place if everybody was like Hammersmith (i.e. thoughtful), but, obviously, I'd settle for much less, including from myself.
