I think they need to pre-sell tickets for GA again like they used to. Paying as you drive in is brutal and such a waste of time. Could easily just direct us in as we pull up instead of making the entire line wait for 30 people to buy tickets.

We showed up the morning of and it was perfect. If we can do that every week(and have more than 4 spots), I will be happy. I only really want two things: a guaranteed spot to put our rig and no obscene line up times. Seemed like a lot of rigs were missing last week, tho. Hopefully people didn't get discourage.

I don't see that happening until the weather turns and even then as I said last week rain scares away WAY more people than cold and snow. The guy that always came around to presell tickets said he thought it was pretty dumb they weren't letting him do that this year. I don't see any reason to not presell. You know how many spots you have and you ask everyone how many they want ... I fail to see the part where this is an issue. From my conversation with him it sounded like it was simply a power grab, sort of "taking back control of tailgating".

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how it plays out this coming week. I realize it's homecoming so things will certainly be different. I think we are going to show up about the same time before the lots open and hope for the best. East lot is always the back up plan going forward.

Would have been nice to be able to get more than the 4 spots last week when it was very clearly not going to be full. I was kind of confused about the middle area being left open too.

So the guy can't walk up the line 15 minutes before the gates open and collect? That's the stupidest thing ever.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

Because that's not the way it's always been done and, you know ... so, just keep doing it that way. [emoji849]

Sure is, especially since they’ve been doing it for years.

I saw this on twitter and thought it was a joke at first. Would definitely like to know the details. They've become an institution at home and on the road.
