I don't understand the shoot out format but does anyone know if Amy will cash because she made the 1st cut?
A visit to the LPGA site this am answered my question. She made 3296.00.

This week Amy is traveling to Mexico for match play! CITIBANAMEX LORENA OCHOA MATCH PLAY IN MEXICO CITY STYLE! Her first match will be with Ariya Jutanugarn ranked number 3 in the world currently. Good week for Amy to go into Bison Mode! The other half of the Dakota Duo, Kim Kaufman, will square up with Jenny Shin in her first match! Amy and Kim are in the same bracket, so no way they can meet in the final. Here's to them both having a great week in any case!!httP://www.lpga.com/tournaments/lore...ay/leaderboard

Here is your chance to make up for any faulty bracket busted efforts in March Madness with correct predictions in the Lorena Ochoa Match Play Championship! With four brackets and 64 entries, it will unfold a lot quicker also! My picks are as follows!: Final Four: Brooke Henderson, Inbee Park, Amy Anderson, Stacy Lewis with Inbee and Amy moving on to the final and Amy winning the whole tamale! You heard it here first! http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/lore...k_large_v3.jpg

I will be very surprised if Amy wins the first Match.
That will be a very stout opponent for sure at number 3 in the world. "A couple of U.S. Girls’ Junior champions will face each other in Rd. 1. World No. 3 Ariya Jutanugarn, who won the Girls’ Junior in 2009, will meet Amy Anderson (2011)". I like Amy's chances in match play though in general, and should she pull off the upset on Ariya, then you really have to like her chances going forward FANatic! The real head scratcher for me on this deal is why in the world with an event of this stature and with four LPGA Hall Of Famers doing special exhibitions are they not televising this event?!?
