    Clark Whilhem "Sparky" Griswold

The Pembina Gorge is North Dakota's Grand Canyon.
Was there 3 weeks ago with family.
The state needs to put more money into it.
They take the Dinosaur Bones to Bismarck.
50 Million in the bank to cover a library's overhead.
Dirt roads. Pembina Gorge treated like the ugly step sister.
One of the most unique places on the great plains.
    And there's the Three Sister's Hill's.

Glad you had a good time. Clark wasn't impressed.
Agreed on pembina gorge the scenic "route" is literally a prairie road and at one point you feel like you're driving through a farmer's field. But I'll be realistic there isn't going to be a draw to keep anyone there for more than a few days. Could tie it into the international peace gardens and devil's lake though. They do have the museum in pembina that goes into the gorge information.

Ya it's a farm field road. No money for NE North Dakota.
They won't fix the Red River bridge (Neilsville Bridge) in Trail County. After the DAPL protesters damaged a bridge south of Mandan they fixed it right away.

Also Minnesota Polk County has there share of money to fix Neilsville Bridge. A trail county legislator was asking ND why they won't fund the fix. He was told that there's not enough traffic on it. He's no longer a legislator. They $ him out.

Yeah that neilsville bridge issue is odd. Know a bit about it since I live in Hillsboro. Traill county got fed up with the feds because they kept refusing to give polk and Traill a big chunk of funding and spending $ to put in the applications.
