Sagarin has us as about 15 point favorites, including the home field advantage for them.

It should be a boat race, I'll be pissed if we lose this one.
But didn't you read in the article that they're much improved from last year. They got kids from the portal.

Do they have West Coast speed though?

The mildcats will probably be 0-2 heading into the game and not have much confidence.
It's OK to not be OK.

They have speed from two directions: The West Coast AND being a southern state. I am surprised that their players are even visible at those speeds.

One thing we can be sure of, they will have better athletes than we have ever seen at almost every position. We've never seen [position|speed|skill|strength|height|talent|etc] like they have.

According to another article there, Arizona lost 21 players to the portal, and got another WSU QB (had one last year), a UTEP receiver and a UCLA DE in exchange. Of course, they fully expect their highly touted true freshmen class to march up and down the field on the Bison

In general terms, I don't get too bent out of shape about this issue because eventually our boys end up making those generalizations look pretty silly in retrospect. Not the case for that Oregon game. I can't go to the tape when someone says such things to me.

How many 1st and 2nd round draft picks were on that 2020 Bison team? How many total 2020 Bison players that are or that'll eventually be in the NFL would have played in that game? That 2020 team could have beaten the Ducks, or at least would have given them a really good game.
    Insert something clever here...

I prefer the other team to be over-confident. It's a morale killer when what reality hits them.

Arizona fans seem a bit more realistic than their media outlets are:

Request for NDSU Teammaker tickets on Gobison.com. Deadline to request is May 16. $29 per seat.

    https://gobison.com/news/2022/4/27/t...t-arizona.aspx

The visitor sections are about as bad as Arizona's football team...
