I saw "O" at the Bellagio- of course there were cool moments, but my wife and I agreed we'd rather have seen pretty much anything else when we were there, in retrospect.

I toured the Raiders football stadium, which was cool, but I mean this completely authentically, the Vike's stadium is better in virtually every single aspect. If you've toured US bank, you will go there and say "huh, yeah this is just a worse version of US bank...". It feels like an off brand knock off of US bank. I was underwhelmed, big time
    1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
    2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.
    3. It's time to go FBS

Kinda what Vegas is though, so seems fitting.

Noted! Several people have mentioned the heat being something to keep in mind. Even when hiking the Grand Canyon…they say the temperature difference from the top to the bottom can be 20-30 degrees (getting hotter as you descend).

Hottest Bison game I’ve ever been to was the Kansas State game…like 107 IIRC. Curious to see how toasty this one gets to.

Never had a desire to go to Vegas by itself, but swinging through on the way home from a football game is more my style. Just want to say I’ve been there and experienced a bit of it I guess. And typically after any Bison game I’ve gone to on these long road trips is that I’m in “ready to be home” mode so sometimes plans change and I just come home early. We’ll see how this plays out. Twins play in KC on the 22nd, I could catch that and take my time getting up to Vermilion by Saturday.

My relatives in Arizona tell me to do stuff in the mornings that time of year and the train ride at the grand canyon is supposedly pretty cool. They say that's why the game is scheduled so late. For the heat. Football tickets cheap. Plane tickets expensive. Big country music concert that day too.

    Lardsin must go!

I picked the location of my place in Vegas for that very reason. It's about 1000 feet higher in elevation than the strip. It can be up to 10 degrees cooler here than what most tourists experience.
    Looking good Billy Ray!

What section is everyone getting tickets in for the game?

My wife and I officially booked our flight last night, and will be joining one of my college friends and his wife for the game, but we have not yet bought tickets for the game, so we wanted to see what section(s) will be the "NDSU sections".

We are staying at the Wild Horse Pass Casino in Phoenix on Friday for plenty of gambling (like old times sake with my old roommate), driving down to Tucson on Saturday, staying at the Holiday Inn Express Tucson Mall Saturday night after the game, and then driving back to Phoenix on Sunday before heading home to Wisconsin early Monday Morning.
