I have booked a stay at the Holiday Inn Express Tucson Mall. It is only 5 miles away from the stadium (a 15 minute drive), and I got it using reward points. Plus, with my kids coming, it has a pool for them.

If you're younger or just enjoy nightlife I would suggest the Hotel Congress. It's got a club/venue and I remember there being a bloody mary bar on Sunday morning with tons of options. Plus it's where they got John Dillinger.
