I wonder if the ranking is based on the fact that AZ will play 9 Pac12 conference games. So, it should be known that they will loose almost all of those games against "higher" competition than most G5 teams. If they don't they will be the surprise of the Pac12. Even so, that is a low ranking for a P5 team.

Fair point, their win was over #82 California, even though they also lost to FCS Northern Arizona.
Would agree they should be higher than teams like FIU, NMSU, UConn, UMass.

I'm just surprised they were ranked above Vanderbilt of the SEC, who had 2 wins. I think Vandy is better.
Honestly though, think a lot of MVFC schools would beat both of them.

At San Diego State 12-2 last year they beat Arizona last year 38-14 & won their BOWL game played in FRISCO vs UTSA

vs. Mississippis State 7-6 Mike Leach HC----RUN N GUN LOL a little different approach than Zona will face the next week vs NDSU

if they could beat San Diego State---maybe they could keep line down


but ---which I'm predicting---they get their ass kicked in both games-----line probably opens up higher in Bison favor---like my -9.5 prediction
