    Default Greatest retires

Congrats to Ben Woodside on a great professional career. Forum calls him the greatest but everyone seems to have their own opinion. If Andre Smith had 4 years as a Bison he would be my vote.
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.

2009 was a special year for me as a student I will never forget watching NDSU in the big dance. Thanks Woodside and that team!

Yep. I'll never forget sitting in my American History class with Mr. Rustad (rest his soul) and watching it with the whole class cheering on the Bison in their first trip to the dance. Very special time.

Loved being at Metrodome for the Kansas game. Loved every minute of it. Best of luck on your next chapter in life Woody .

Congrats to Ben for sure on a great career. Great player and great ambassador for NDSU athletics.

Happy that Tim Miles laid the keys on the table and Ben agreed to come here and lead the program to the big dance. Such a huge part of Bison history, Ben and the basketball team set the tone for the DI transition.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

ben put NDSU on the national map b4 the football team. he is #1 reason NDSU succeeded at D1. BLESS HIM!!

    his top 5:

Shot to beat Oakland for 1st NCAA trip on NATL TV

38 points vs #3 Kansas in NCAA on NATL TV

Beating #8 Wisconsin to break thier 56 game win streak vs non conf

    60 points at Drake.

stopping & helping Lakesbison out while sitting on a curb 1 night where he emotionally lost it. Probably 1 of the nicest things someone has done for me ... Congrats Woody.. hell of a career

That game gave me goosebumps when it was a 1 possession game with about 6 minutes left. Playing the Defending national champions in front of a massive Bison crowd and good sized Jay Hawk crowd on CBS was electric. So much fun

Hate to break your high but nobody remembers or cares about the kansas game a decade ago. Nobody remembers beating Wisconsin or marquette. It wasn't putting ndsu on the map when a 14 seed lost to a 3 seed.
