Do you seriously consider yourself to be more knowledgeable on this subject than all the nfl coaching and personell gurus?

They often get too caught up in height and weight and there are plenty of players over the years that prove that incorrect. Big guys need to prove they can't play and small guys need to prove they can play. It's not just a football thing.

Exactly. These blowhards that spend years and years evaluating talent in the NFL (especially UND talent) are so freaking arrogant ....... that run-of-the-mill fan board regulars are actually BETTER evaluators than they are, because we have no pre-conditioned bias's.

    FU National Football League!!

It's how you end up with frequent first and second round busts who are tall big and strong but aren't all that good at football. Then there are the Patriots who value film above all else.

Exactly. And even the idiot Patriots passed on Ratelle too, which caused them to have to pull off a record-breaking comeback just to win the damn Super Bowl. That oughta show 'em!

    FU Patriots!!!

Falcons win that game with Ratelle at LB.

Might be that there is no precedent for 5' 9" FCS linebackers. I would highly doubt he's disqualified from playing LB based only on height. If he had the ability to play linebacker in the NFL, he would be playing linebacker in the NFL. Teams will take chances on guys who've never played football, but have the ability to contribute.

    Without question.

Now..........is there anything else we can do for you around here? Get you your own Pro Day? Save your ass with a conference change? Force your program out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead? (again)

We just want to be helpful.
