Dang man...giving up a good team, a scholarship, FCOA... to play in Ames for a bottom feeder of the worst P5 conference?

Yep, I don't get it. It is one thing to pursue a dream, it is another forgetting a full ride with FCOA is a great deal. Worst is when we lost the Lloyd kid to PWO at Wisconsin, even if a great program.

Just glad it doesn’t happen to NDSU very often - tradition, winning, academics, gameday, facilities, you name it, I think it is less likely to happen to the Bison than most other FCS teams.

As far as Kuchel choosing a PWO to Iowa State over South Dakota’s offer.....
Who knows? Could be his dream school, or his family’s dream school, or his family has money, who knows?
Nice to see Kuchel getting the opportunity he wants.
There is hope at ISU. Matt Campbell is in his 2nd season as head coach, has the ‘clones at 4-2.
Had what they might hope is a program-changing win at #3 Oklahoma.

    Also beat Northern Iowa 42-24
    Lost to Iowa 44-41 (OT)
    Beat Akron 41-14
    Lost to Texas 17-7
    Beat Kansas 45-0

so you are judging a kid with solid family money for picking his hometown favorite team? Just like some kids grow up in ND hoping to be a Bison, that kid got a shot to play for his Badgers. Hope he does make it. We are fortunate this doesn't happen more often. You also don't know what is said behind closed doors. Just an example. Lets say (hypothetical) that Wisconsin had 2 seniors at TE. They tell the kid, look we don't have a scholarship for you today...but we graduate two at your position, and you would get that one. Essentially the 4 for 5 deal. Which happens quite often. My point is, nobody ever knows. Most of our offers aren't full rides either. Just saying there are a lot of moving parts and at the end of the day you don't criticize a kid for chasing a dream.
Everyone just relax, all right? Believe me, if there's one thing Ron Burgundy knows, it's women.

Such a difficult choice. I got no arguments for you.

Looks like Wyoming upped their offer to a scholly, more competition for the Jacks.

    SDSU has offered a PWO to Beau Foix - 6’ 6” 220 - DE/OLB/TE - Virginia MN
Has offers from Duluth, SW Minnesota

Wisconsin gets a PWO commitment from OL Andrew Lyons - 6’ 5” 285 - Kenosha Bradford HS (WI)
Had an offer from Western Illinois

SDSU offers Kearney Catholic HS QB Matt Masker (6’ 3” 215), 1st D1 offer.
    Was a 2018 NDSU interest.

Minnesota gets a verbal from a kicker from Sioux Falls Washington, Brock Walker.
Was a SDSU verbal. Current Jackrabbit kicker Chase Vinatieri will be a junior next season.
